Rand al'Thor from The Wheel of Time book series. He's one of the main characters (in fact, the main one I guess).

Rand may not be my favorite, but I always find his self-dehumanization throughout the novels tragic and depressing. It may be necessary to endure his own choices but... sometimes it makes me want to yank my hair out. x__X

Not that he has much of a choice, but thank god for the 'lighter' characters, like Mat, who keep everything rolling. XD

LMAAOOO I HAD READ ONLY 180 PAGES OF THE FIRST BOOK WHEN I COMMENTED THIS! XDDD
Im here again, wiser and this time I'll write everything in english lol

It's amazing how Jordan uses the old - or should I say ancient lol - poems and texts on the books *_*
I find it fascinating 8)

Rand al'Thor, still ain't one of my favorite characters, but he's a cool one. Though sometimes pretty unpleasant..ish and crazy, I feel bad for him every now and then. It's almost annoying how he has to make all his decisions without having any other choice, although that makes him an interesting character...

I like how you use the textures 8D Gives the pictures like, other dimensions lol
